AISSEE 2023-24 | Sainik School Admission for Class 6 & 9

The Ministry of Education’s Sainik Schools Society (SSS) is an autonomous organization. Defence, Govt. of India. English-medium residential schools affiliated with the CBSE, all 33 Sainik Schools across the nation are under the management of Sainik School. While providing a high standard of instruction from Class-VI to Class-XII in accordance with the CBSE Curriculum, Sainik Schools prepare cadets (Boys & Girls) for entry into the National Defence Academy (NDA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), and other Training Academies for Officers.

About AISSEE 2023

Sainik School Admission 2023 – The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the All India Sainik School Entrance Test for class 6 and 9 admissions at 33 Sainik Schools throughout India. Boys and Girls both can apply for Class 6 Sainik School admissions if they fulfill the necessary eligibility criteria for the same. However, for class 9 admissions into Sainik School, only boys fulfilling the eligibility criteria are eligible to appear for the All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2023.

Sainik School Admission 2023-24 Notification Released

• AISSEE 2023, also known as the All India Sainik School Entrance Exam, is scheduled to take place on January 8, 2023 (Official).
• Online submission of application forms is going to start from 21 October 2022 to 30 November 2022 (Official Dates) upto 5:00 pm. For the academic year 2023–2024, Sainik School will hold the All India Sainik School Entrance Exam.

Some details for the admission into Academic Year 2023-2024 are given below:-

• All India Sainik School Entrance Examination: 08 January 2023 (Sunday)
• For Admission to Class-VI: A potential candidate must fall within 10 and 12 years as on 31 March 2023 (born between 01 April 2011 and 31 March 2013).
• Admission for girls is open for Class-VI, Age criteria is same as boys.
• For Admission to Class-IX: A potential candidate must fall within 13 and 15 years as on 31 March 2023 (born between 01 April 2008 and 31 March 2010). Candidate should have passed class 8 from recognized School.
  Admission for girls in Class – IX is not open as of now.
• Mode of Examination:  Offline (OMR Answer sheets)

• Candidates are advised to look up reservation requirements and seat availability for admission into Sainik School in the Information Bulletin published /uploaded in the Website of NTA.
