RMS CET 2023 | Rashtriya Military School Admission Application, Important Date, Notification

1. Reservation of Vacancies

(a) 70% for wards of Army, Navy, and Air Force JCOs/OR (including ex-servicemen). 

(b) 30% for wards of Army, Navy, and Air Force officers (including retired officers) and wards of civilians

(c) A total of 50 seats are earmarked for the Killed in Action category in all five RMSs at any point of time.

Note: In all categories, 27%, 15%, and 7.5% of seats are reserved for OBC (Non­Creamy Layer), SC, and ST, respectively.

For Class VI, a maximum of 10% of seats or 30 vacancies (across all 05 RMSs) will be reserved for female candidates.

2. Admit Cards, Interview, and Results:

Candidates who pass the Common Entrance Test and are on the merit list will be required to attend interviews at the respective Rashtriya Military Schools. The final merit list will be prepared following the interview. Admit cards and results will be available for download on the School website www.rashtriyamilitaryschools.edu.in.

3. Medical: 

Selected candidates will be required to undergo medical exams at Military Hospitals nominated by the Director­General of Medical Services prior to admission based on their cumulative CET and interview scores. Only those found medically fit will be offered admission.

4. Application Forms:

The online Application Form will be available at www.rashtriyamilitaryschools.edu.in from September 18 to October 18, 2023. The deadline for submitting an online application and paying the application fee is October 18, 2023, at 20:00 hrs.
