Navodaya Vidyalaya Exam 2021 Eligibility Criteria

JNVST-2021 Eligibility Criteria for Class 6^th Navodaya Vidyalaya Admission:

• Only the candidates from the district where Navodaya Vidyalaya is located are eligible to apply.
• The candidate must be studying in class 5^th during the academic session 2020-21 in a Government/Government aided or other recognized school.
• The age of the candidate should be between 9-13 years. No age relaxation for any reserved categories.
• No candidate is allowed to appear for the second time in JNVST exam

JNVST Lateral Entry Test 2021 Eligibility Criteria for Class IX:

• candidates who are studying Class VIII during the Academic Session 2020-21 in Govt./Govt. recognized schools of the district where the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is functioning admission is sought, are Only eligible for Admission into Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 9^th.
• Candidate seeking admission into Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 9^th must have born between 13-16 years. No age relaxation for any reserved categories.

Area wise: Rural 75% & Urban 25%

Gender wise: Boys 67% & Girls 33%

Category wise: SC and ST –Minimum 15% and & 7%; Maximum 50% for both the categories taken together.

Physically Handicapped: 3%
